The purpose of this Web Site is to provide information to District 10 Legionnaires concernign the past, present, and upcoming activities within the District. Provide Reports, maps, pictures, happy times, links to veteran services, and over all provide a hypermedia link to information important to all veterans.

i. Adjutant: All administrative requirements between posts/department/national ii. Sr. Vice: Stand for the Commander, Membership reporting, consolidation of all data for web page before posting. iii. Jr. Vice: Represent assigned post groupings at Dist. Meetings; monitor and encourage assigned posts Legion activities with information; complete Web Page requirements for each Post on a monthly basis (see attachment one); visit each assigned post twice a year (but report on posts quarterly) (more frequent visit are encouraged!); Assignments as follows: 1. Jr. Vice Cdr: Charles Howard a. Post 109, Hartwell b. Post 39 Danielsville c. Post 92, Lavonia d. Post 93, Commerce e. Post 104, Toccoa 2. Jr. Vice Cdr: Dwight Byrd a. Post 531, Monroe b. Post 20, Athens c. Post 123, Lexington d. Post 185, Athens 3. Jr. Vice Cdr: Terry Moore a. Post 32, Covington b. Post 37 Madison c. Post 110, Monticello d. Post 215, Homer 4. Finance: maintain records, pay fiduciary requirements, report to Cdr as required, report to general meeting quarterly. v. Chaplain: provide prayers as requested; provide spiritual guidance at quarterly meetings not to exceed ten (10) minutes; report on grave decoration on Memorial Day; coordinate with Department Chaplain for requirements. vi. Sgt-At-Arms: Ensures meeting hall is arranged appropriately; Ensures posting of the colors at quarterly meetings, recovers and maintains District Colors; ensures membership of all participating Legionnaires at appropriate meetings; serves as chairman of the district welcoming committee; maintains order as directed by the Cdr. vii. Service Officer: Provide updates for Web Page (links, new news, Legion and other pertinent activities); provide presentation at quarterly meetings not to exceed five (5) minutes; coordinate with Department Service Officer and report accordingly to Cdr and quarterly meeting. viii. Judge Advocate: provides professional advice on conduct of all district business, guardian of the district constitution, responsible for conducting district financial audit.
i. Membership at 100% of last year ii. Participation of all posts in District Meetings. Or, confirmed alibi with Jr. Vice. iii. All posts complete and certify a financial audit with District Judge Advocate. iv. All posts participate in American Legion Americanism projects with presentations at Quarterly Meetings. v. 10 District demonstrate a lead in use of hypermedia communications to stay informed, communicate, and advertise. 1. Email system/WebCam 2. Fax system 3. Phone system 4. WEB SITE a. Cdr will design and maintain for the year b. Sr. Vice Cdr will consolidate data from Jr. Vices’/Post Commanders c. Web Space for District activities, reports, links, and forms d. Web Page (or More) for each post: activities, accomplishments, meetings, commitments, and leadership e. Will request funding at first meeting. Will pay for out of pocket prior to that time. (LAH)
